"The Trouble With Freedom" is a critical analysis from a historical perspective of both gun control and the use of military drones to eliminate American citizens that the government deems imminent threats. The essay proposes that the position of the current Presidential Administration on these issues makes for a dangerous combination of precedents for the Federal Government, and calls the reader to action as a means to preserving freedom for America's posterity.



The work is intended to be approachable from any political position or party, and intends not to provide divisive rhetoric, but rather intends to be a point of departure for further discussion of the issues in non-polarizing ways.
